Every machine in use or placed on the EU market must carry a CE marking and a declaration of conformity. It often happens that an existing machine lacks the appropriate documentation — either because it was imported without CE, because documentation has been lost, or because the machine has been modified and the original CE declaration is no longer valid. We take care of this for you.
A machine without a valid CE declaration must not be in use. In the event of an accident, the employer is personally liable, and the insurer may refuse to cover damages. An inspection authority can order the immediate shutdown of the machine.
